Landscape
This is the first picture I made in Bryce 2, so I don´t
have any story for it.
Because I just started using the program and was experimenting was the
final result created almost by itself. The planets in the background are
made in Photoshop and I used layer masks for illusion of clouds and atmosphere.

Tower
of power
I though was a fitting name to this picture witch is to a friends
homepage and are the second picture made by me in Bryce 2.
He had no
demands except that the word [Sp@mmer] should be present.
The location can be on earth in the near future or if you wish, on a alien
planet where they can extract energy directly from sea-water with out
harm to the environment. An another thought I had with the picture was
that it should symbolize Internet, where everyone can reach each other,
no matter if you are on a island far out on the Atlantic sea. This illustration
was chosen as Picture of the week in February -99 by Chroome.
The
towers are composite of multiple objects and the islands were formed specially
for the towers. I finished the picture in Photoshop with final touch on
the horizon, imported text from Illustrator, used layer mask so I could
hide parts of the text behind the towers, added smoke, birds and lens
flair. Original picture are 640x480 pixels and 72 dpi.

All
on board!
Big
and heavy spaceships. Hovering with precision on antigravitation generators
towards a docking tower, where loading of merchandise and passengers on
the way to whole galaxy take place. When the spaceships starts they ignite
rockets for accelerate the ships.
Here I used
negative objects for first time. Light source between tunnel
and the tower was little difficult (for me) to make. I did lot of work
on how the ships are placed in the picture bringing movement and activity
without animation. The atmosphere has little haze, so the ships witch
are higher and further a way in the picture are affected by it. Big advantage
after rendering was that the program made reflexes on the water surface
from the closest ship with ignited rockets. Rendering did take 3,5 hours
(!) for this document with even 400 objects. Original size are 26,44x19,84
cm in 300 dpi and 15,5 Mb. But it was worth waiting. The resolution are
so high that you can almost see the rivets before the pixels begin to
show. :-)
